Hi
I will be applying for Chinese Work Visa soon. Z visa.
I have all the documents from the school that are required to apply.
I have a question about filling in the form

Once in Guangzhou I plan to visit Hong Kong frequently. Almost every weekend or every 15 days. so my question is about 2.5 and 2.6 in the visa application form.

My contract is for 2 years. so the maximum of days that I would stay in china would be over 700 days. But like I said I plan to visit HK very frequently.

I will be near so I will not schedule my travels, I'll simply take trains on weekends.

But the visa form asks for my "itenerary" how should I fill that in? Should I fill it in only for the first month? am I supposed to fill it in for the whole 2 years?

I wonder how does it affect their Work Visa in the boarders?

thank you for your time! :)

GUEST5678 Mimjack, if you apply for the Z type, I don't think you need to fill in itinerary part. Your work permit and invitation letter from your employer are enough. After getting the Z type, you should come into PRC as early as you can because you need to change your Z into the temporary resident permit.

Duration of stay of your resident permit is decided by your contract. If you are lucky, you may get a 2 years resident permit. If not, you may get one year resident type and have to extend it before it expires. This is all decided by the officers of the entry and exit management bureau.

With the resident permit in hand, you can visit HK as many times as you can. So you needn't worry about your frequent HK trips.
