We'll meet in Shanghai and would like to make it to Hong Kong. Since a week each is a lot in a city, are there any good locations to stop along the way? I've noted some of the major cities in between Shanghai and Hong Kong, but few are along the major train route. Are the buses easy to navigate with no knowledge of Chinese? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
