Accdording to sources in Shangdong Province, a 17-year-old girl strangled her grandma for "not keeping the promise".

The girl with a surname of "Qu" dropped out of school after finishing the first year of her Junior high school education. Recently, she has just found a job, but needed 300 Yuan to make a deposit. She asked her grandma for the money, and asked her grandma to promise not to tell others. The grandma gave her 300 Yuan. Later, the girls' relatives knew the case. Qu suspected that her grandma didn't keep the promise. She turned hatred against her grandma. On May 13th, she strangled her grandma with a rope and went off with 200 Yuan in her grandma's pocket.

When the girl was arrested, she confessed her crime. After the interrogation by the police, she asked the cop:" Do you have any other thing to ask? Or, I will go home."

When the cop told her that she had to stay in prison, she asked the cop whether there is a bathing room so that she could wash.

Sadly, this girl is so ignorant and ridiculous. It seems that she has no knowledge of the law.

She is too cruel. How can she strangle her grandmother? Where are her parents?

Well, it is unclear about her family background. Maybe she is an orphan, or her parents are migrating farmers who have to work in big cities. The girl have to be left behind in the rurual area. Her grandma has to look after her.

This is not a simple murder or crime. This case is reflective. Behind this case hide a serious social problem-the increasing juvenile delinquency. There are more and more "Problem Children" in China. Who should be blamed for the increasing juvenile delinquency? Kids, schools, parents, families or the whole society?

You are right, Leonardo. It is a serious social problem.

Schools, parents, families and the whole society should all be responsible for the tragedy. At present, school authorties only care about the scores. They seldom pay attention to the students' psychology and offer some guidance to them. Parents should care about their kids very much and communication is very important. Some kids think that there is a gap between their parents and them so that they seldom communicate with their parents. As parents, you should actively communicate with your kids. Parents are the first teacher of their children. They have a great impact on growth of children. The society also be blamed for.

Seems she didnt understand much at all about what she has done. Instead of punishment perhaps she needs medical treatment. Mad? Maybe that is not a word we'd use these days, mentally disturbed, yes, probably.
