Can Shanghai become the financial center of Asia?

Each of them competes for being the financial center of Asia just like London and New York in America and Europe. Can Shanghai become the financial center of Asia? If not, which city above is possible to be?

Hundreds of multinationals are moving to Shanghai. Additionally, Shanghai is the financial center of China. China's robust economic growth will convince you that Shang will someday in the near future.

I notice that the central government gives some preferential policies to Tianjing, another municipality directly under the Central Government. Another development zone is being established in Tianjin, that is Binhai District. More and more giant banks, financial or investment companies are attracted to settle down there. Tianjing is a very strong rival to Shanghai.
