WINDENERGY Points: Join Date: Jan 24, 2006 Status: offline	I have a new computer at my apartment in Kunming. Most of the staff are away for summer holidays and I'm here studying more Chinese. Nobody here knows about the website where anybody can download software related to typing Pinyin and getting Chinese characters. Thus, all Chinese characters and script comes up as squares and dots on my computer screen. Other schools that I have worked at have the software easily available by clicking onto the taskbar. Does anybody know the web address for dowloading the software used to type Chinese characters onto the computer screen? In the past I was using the "a.b.c." colored tool which allows a person to type Pinyin and get a list of choices as to what character you would like to enter. Presently at a loss in finding the website that contains this software. Can anybody out there help? Thanks for your consideration. __WINDENERGY__

MAY001 Points: Join Date: Sep 28, 2005 Status: Offline	There should be a little keyboard icon in the right bottom of your screen. Put you mouse on it and click the right button to modify your language input.

WINDENERGY Points: Join Date: Jan 24, 2006 Status: Offline	Actually May, that is why I posted this blog. I DON'T HAVE THE ICON IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF MY SCREEN. The only way to have this icon is to install it. Either from a CD-ROM or downloading from the internet.
