I currently live in Hangzhou and I have 3 friends coming over to visit for 10 days and I want to show them a real special time. So I have decided to take them to the beautiful Province of Sichuan... The idea is to get to Chengdu, spend a night there and then take off the next day on a 7 days drive up the mountains. I have found 4x4 cars to rent and I now need to set up our itinerary. Does anyone have any suggestions of an itinerary? We want to stay off the beaten track, and off course see as much beautiful scenery as we can... We are also looking for a guide to accompany us, any one can help? If anyone can help I would be very greatfull! Thanks!

EVENING Points: Join Date: Dec 5, 2006 Status: Offline	For beautiful scenery, Huanglong and Jiu Zhai Gou are must. They both in Aba Autonomous Region.

ELLYSE Points: Join Date: Oct 30, 2005 Status: Offline	Jiuzhaigou & Huanglong will be very crowded though IMHO one of the most worthwhile places to visit in all of China. Try to visit at least 1 day before 1/10. Also note that the entry ticket usually valid for 2 days will only be valid for 1 day during the holiday week. Danba would also be another worthwhile recommendation.
