 | Hello.. I plan to travel to GuangZhou 2 weeks later. My parents are planning to have some medical check up there. I really need these infos if you can really help me: 1. Best hospital or clinic to get some medical check up 2. Best doctor for earring (hearing) problems. I have serious problem about my ears. Really hope that you can help me Thanks! Vera |

| There are several western and international clinics in Guangzhou but I don't have the details. They are all available on a map which is published for the Expat community there along with dining and shoppping and loads of other practical information. If you get no ohter help then look for this map at the airport when you arrive. It's all in English or Pinyin etc. |

| I have heard that the doctors in China need some monetary incentives before they will get off their butts. He who pays, get to be first in the queue. But then it's only hearsay. I have not stepped into a hospital in China... and hopefully won't have to. |

| hello, if u come to guangzhou for medical care, Chinese medicine and traditional medical care are the best choices. try 1st or 2nd subsidiary hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, they are located on San Yuan Li(terminal metro station of Line 2) and Da De Lu. the E.N.T.department there is very famous. u can add me on hotmail.com|guangzhou_apartment |

| in panyu, there is a very well-respected hospital. they speak english and chinese, practice TCM and western medicine. it is clifford hospital, in clifford estates, panyu, guangzhou. panyu is south of the main part of guangzhou. you can search google for it. not sure about ear problems, specifically, but very good overall. |
