GUESTPIERRE ... Boa Dia! Macau is much more attractive than Hong Kong. There is a real Portuguese influence in both architecture... and gastronomy. I didn't gamble, as this is not my cup of tea; still, I have visited the Casino Lisbo, Wynn, MGM Grand... Funny! They even play some typical Chinese games, with hard to understand rules. Splendid night life. Good links:

I'm afraid neither the bus nor ferry to Macau offers service that time. You may stay at the airport till the next mornig and then take a ferry to Macau (FYI: http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/hongkong/transportation/ship.htm ) (the earliest one is at1050) from the nearby Sky Pier or take the overnight shuttle bus, say N11 to the downtown area (Central) and then take a ferry from the Macau Ferry Pier to Macau the next morning.

You can do it on your own. Macau is not a big place. One day is enough. What tourist attractions do you like?

Read the following page and find some attractions. Then we may help you make an itinerary.

Yes, the fisherman's wharf, Macau Tower, Ruins of St. Pauls, Senado Square and other attractions are worth a visit.

Why not apply your visa in HK? Check the following links to get where you should go to apply your visa, how much it costs and what required documents you need to prepare.

Or you can ask China Travel Service (a travel agency) to handle your visa for you. They may charge you service fee but you can get your visa quickly.
