As 2008 Olypics approaching, many people from all over the world are planning a trip to Beijing. August 8th will be the day for the one year countdown to the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympic Games. Are Beijingers ready for the big events? Have you ever paid a visit to Beijing? Are they friendly and hospitable? How about the taxi-drivers in Beijing? Do they charge you fairly?

I found them to be very friendly, I don't know about the taxi's as I mainly used buses, when I was there I had a bad knee and people were offering to give up their seat for me, this memory will stay with me forever.
I would be very happy to go back to Beijing.

Beijing has set a theme for the 2008 games, People's Olympics and Green Olympic. How to fulfill its promose to the world need the joint efforts of Beijingers from all walks of life.
