Recently in Taiwan, a group of ballet actors and actresses will start a naked performance in southern Taiwan. The 23 performers come from German, Austria, Hungary and local Taiwan. They will give a dance for the music of Tchaikovsky Peter Ilyitch. The director Yu Nengsheng says, although the performers are naked, the stage light will make it a beautiful art rather than pornographic. What's your opinion?

I would have to say it was artitstic because I wouldn't call naked men doing ballet sexy, ha ha It looks like the lady is wearing a body stocking anyway.

Perhaps I should change the 'sexy' in the title into 'pornographic'. (*^__^*)

It's always hard to understand what artists think...

Yes, may! Usually when I see artist boys with much longer hair than mine, I really can't understand why......

Artists are not ordinary. They have an amazing insight to art, and usually they can see what we, ordinary peopele can not see.

Maybe it is art. I am ordinary so that I can not understand it.

Just because Leonardo DaVinci had a great mind, it doesn't mean that every artist has a great mind or exceptional insights. The nudity is just a publicity stunt to sell more tickets.

I'd be curious to know exactly what there is about naked men and women performing ballet that enhances the athleticism and gracefulness of pure ballet. I would think the site of swinging, hanging, and bobbling body parts would be a bit distracting. Also, the difference between art and pure garbage is sometimes hard to see. I may not know art, but I do know what offends my intelligence and my sense of decency.
