![]() | Orinally, Wuhan, Chongqing and Nanjing are called the three 'Furnaces' because the temperature in summer are very high and unbearable. Actually, the temperature is rising year by year. In this summer, the temperature in some cities has exceeded 38 degrees. The Phoenix TV Station has elected new three ' Funaces', included are Fuzhou, Guangzhou and Hangzhou. Actually, the temperature of many other cities in China are also very high, such as Changsha, Nanchang, Shanghai and Jinan. In your opinion, which city is the hottest in China, dear members? I see that many members in this forum are traveling in different cities in China. So can you tell us which is the hottest? |

![]() | Most of the cities in China are very hot in summer. But there are still some cities which can be called Summer Resort, for example, Changchun. To spend a holiday there is quite good in summer. |

![]() | So many places throughout China are HOT in summer so it is pretty hard to nominate the hottest. I've been to so many places myself that could easily boast that title including my hometown of Chongqing which already and rightly lays claim to the title. Good luck to those who want to try. |

![]() | I think that most of Southern China can be very hot in the Summer months. I have found it to be hot and the sun intense in Guangzhou during June and July, as it sits almost directly on the Tropic of Cancer line of latitude. Like the USA, China has a wide difference in climate due to its variance in geography and latitude. I will take warm/hot over being cold, any day !!! :) |
