Unauthorized Translation of Harry Potter Banned

A 16 years old French fan of Harry Potter translated the latest Harry Potter novel into French and pasted it on bbs was arrested recently. An investor said that the translation is non-profit but quite professional. It is J.K.Rowling herself who report this unauthorized translation.

Actually, the unauthorized translation of Harry Potter novels are widely spread in internet and there are already a lot of unauthorized Chinese version now.

I understand, Paul...but that is not the point. Most copyright/infringement type laws require that you defend your copyright/patent/intellectual property rights or lose them.

We defend our all of our products technology and IP vigorously.

...besides, maybe she wants to be the richest woman in Britain...don't you know ;)

Yes, May. You can find many Chinese editions of Harry Potter. Some of them are written by Chinese. Before the newest edition of Harry Potter was publlished, there were some pirate Chinese editions.
