Wow, I wonder how many mountains there are in Southern China. And what is considered Southern China, after all? I believe the geographical boundary between north and south China to be the Yangtze River, but this is only a supposition. There must be at least 10,000 mountains to choose from. This one could be any of them. But, TCG,com probably has some information about this one in it's database, so that must narrow it down to 200 or 300. So, I here I go again:

I believe that this photo was taken at Mt Hengshan found in Hengyang City in Hunan Province. Details of these mountains are at:

A world Geo park?? There are eight world geo parks in China: Mt. Huangshan in Anhui, Mt. Lushan in Jiangxi, Mt. Yuntai in Henan, Yunnan Stone Forest, Danxia Geo Park in Guangdong, Zhangjiajie in Hunan, Wudalianchi in Helongjiang and Mt. Songshan in Henan.

Considering the location of this mountain, I guess it is Zhangjiajie.

Dear all,

The Photo Guessing of August 16th is finished. It is the Lusan national park. The first member who gave us the correct name of the mountain is TRAVELDREAM. However, she did not give the URL of the article in our website. According to the rules, we can not award her. What a pity!

Again, thanks for your participation.

Sincerely,
Christine
