BWF may have financial problems. Last Saturday, Kang said that the crisis in BWF may destroy the future of badminton. At 2016 Olympic Games, badminton may disappear from the stage.

Well, we have to admit that badminton is not as popular as other sports, such as football, basketball and tennis. The British people invented it but it seems that badminton does not suit westerners ver well. In west, less people play badminton. However, it is very popular in Southest Asia, such as China, Indonesia and Malaysia.

In order to make the badminton games more interesting and attract more audience, the BWF has tried some methods, for example, modifying the rules. Meanwhile, they hold the World Championships in some countries where badminton are not popular. The purpose is to make more people got to know badminton. It has taken effect but not very well.

I really hope that badminton can be kept as other sports at the Olympic Games because I love palying badminton and watching badminton games.
