Starting from Guilin we visited the main Dong villages and on the way to the festival several Miao-villages as well. We also saw a Gejia village . Our trip was marvellous and we would very much like to go back to Guizhou next year (could be combined with Yunnan or another close-by region) to see other minority-villages and maybe a festival. Maybe some of you have been in Guizhou recently and can give us informations about beautiful spots and villages. For sure since our last visit the infrastruction has been improved, and it should be possible to see villages which in 2004 where off the road. Have a lovely trip and don't forget to buy some of the beautiful embroderies (look out for fakes in the more touristic "shops") ! Ciao-ciao Christine
