| In China, we usually use many seasonings to prepare for a dish. Garlics, shallots, ginger, sesame, surgar, fennel, pepper and many others. What about you foreigners? What do you usually use? |

| I use much the same as you in China except the fennel and sugar, I also don't use much salt because soy sauce is quite salty anyway. P.S I do like fennel so maybe I will start to use it. |

| In UK we tend not to use too much when we are cooking, rather use sauces after. Most British meals will have gravy, brown sauce or ketchup on the plates. |

| With these seasonings, you can prepare delicious dishes. But I do not like Garlics, shallots and ginger.Sesame and Ketchup are ok. |

| I like to use cinnamon on meat. It's strange, I know, but it can be very delicious. I also really like cilantro. |

| I often use Basil, Oregano, Thyme, Parsley, mixed herbs and spices shallots fresh ground black pepper sesame oil very little salt Some of these are not so readily available in China, at least not fresh. Bon apitite |
