NEWBBIE Points: Join Date: Mar 12, 2007 Status: offline	During my first 2 months stay in Yantai I spent about $15,000RMB a month, that is only on meals and expenses, as my acommodation, utilities & transport is paid for by by company. Friends brought me to night clubs which costs about $2,000+ a night, KTVs ranging from $800 RMB to $1,500 RMB. But later I found out that the average wages of the locals rarely exceeds $2,00 RMB, a fresh graduate earns only about $1,300RMB, well right now I've managed to cut down my expenses to $6,000 to $8,000 RMB a month living comfortably, with regular massage and good food, living like a duke, that includes my weekend trips to places like Penglai, Weihai etc. I'm still hoping to be able to cut down to under $5,000RMB a month. Life's really good here in Yantai. I've fallen in love with this place, weather's good, people's friendly.

GUEST10192	I am contemplating a job in Yantai and it only pays approx. $800 US which I'm not sure rt now how much that is in your currency. From what I've researched, I thought that would be adequate. Any comments?
