CRAZYTRAVELLER Points: Join Date: Oct 24, 2006 Status: offline	hi guys i am a chinese malaysian female who would like to visit kunming and places around in late dec (most probably spending christmas there). i'll travelling with another friend and we would like to have 2 others (female) to make a foursome. as this will be our first diy trip so we welcome any form of advice: budget, itinerary etc. btw we are in our 40s and fluent in both mandarin and english. so if anyone who's experienced in diy tour but would like to have some language assistance in china, think we would be good companies. so do help, thanks.

GUEST12206	For the people who gave the opinios upstairs!! Excuse me!! Do you really know Kunming? Kunming is known as Spring City in China, the winter here is not cold at all! I came to Kunming last year around Janurary, the temperature was like 17,18 C.. blue sky,, I only wore tank top! That's another reason why the red-beam seagals fly to Kunming every winter from Russia due to its warm temperature.

BETWEENUS21 Points: Join Date: Jul 10, 2006 Status: Offline	it is indeed cold - and yes altho Kunming is known as Spring City - it doesnt mean it wont get cold as last 2 yrs have proven that when it even snowed! which is rare but it did and its gets colder in jan. Even one cant play golf at the Spring City resort then! Its likely that Guest 12206 visit was during one of the unusually mild weather. I worked there before so i know what i am talking about.

I will arrive Sunday December 23 from ChiangMai/Bangkok and leave Wednesday December 26 for Bangkok.
