In Xinjiang province there is a place named Barkol. It looks like interesting place and more fun is to see a huge blue lake like structure seems to be a dam, its satellite pic is wonderful. Can anyone guide what is this & how to reach there.

CHARAK63, it should be Barkol Lake located in Haimi City in Xinjiang. But I am sorry that I do not how to get there. Here is a map.

Dear Frankenstein,
Thanks for your mail. I would like to share information I digged out yesterday with you from google earth blog: It is an odd looking snow dome(or salt mine) with 5 squares & 2 small rectangles in bottom square. It also appears there is huge glacier too.
