Guizhou Festivals in October-07?

We will be traveling in Guizhou next month from October 23-28, 2007. Are there any festivals during those days? We'll be in Guiyang, Kaili, Zhengyuan, Shidong and Jiazulou.

It seems Rongjiang held Dong Ethnic Minority Group Singing Festival in October last year, but I don't know whether it will be held this year. : )

Hi,MEDIAKZAR,

I am travelling in Kaili of Guizhou now. Guizhou province is a special and different province and derserved to have a look ( I plan to stay here for 2 weeks).

Glad to share with all after i am back to Shanghai in middle of Sept ' 07.

P.S.: For some roads are not very good, so pls remember to use train travel for some places to skip away for bad bus roads which will make your travel more comfortable.
