| No. 3 is the Liberty Bell. Notice the crack in it. The bell had a flaw in it and it cracked soon after it was made. It has only been rung a few times in American history. I have always thought that the crack made it very special because, to me, it reminds us of how precious but fragile liberty is, how it must be protected, but also how it should not be abused. So, it also reminds me of how imperfect human beings' pursuit of liberty is. So, although the crack is there (i.e. our liberty is still not fully achieved and perfected) we keep on trying, keep on working toward perfect liberty for all. |

| How about the last one? What does this suggest? Yemmie, liberty is really fragile. We should protect it carefully. |
