![]() | Mt. Pilatus has been a classic tourist excursion in Central Switzerland since the early 19th Century, when British and German tour groups climbed its slopes on foot or by mule. The mountain is easy to reach from Lucerne, and it offers fantastic views of the Alps. I was at this one in 2000 and by far, this is the most exotic hotel I've been at so far. Really high on top of a mountain. The view there is just breath taking. ![]() |
