Hotell Hackspett, Vesteras, Swiss

It is the smallest hotel in the world and only admits two peoples. Resting in a tree, it even has a kitchen, balcony and bathroom. As it is located 30 feet high, the food offered is put in a basket and then sent up to the hotel.

Mt. Pilatus has been a classic tourist excursion in Central Switzerland since the early 19th Century, when British and German tour groups climbed its slopes on foot or by mule. The mountain is easy to reach from Lucerne, and it offers fantastic views of the Alps.

I was at this one in 2000 and by far, this is the most exotic hotel I've been at so far. Really high on top of a mountain. The view there is just breath taking.
