According to Reuters, study finds eating spinach, eggs regularly is helpful to prevent blindless. Researchers says that eggs, spinach and other leafy green vegetables contained two nutrients, which are helpful to ward off causes of blindless amomg the elderly. The study also shows that 1.2 million Americans, mostly after age 65 suffer vision degeneration, which probably has something to do with their diet: inadequate consumption of leafy green vegetables. "The two nutrients, lutein and zeaxanthin, are both carotenoids -- compounds that give many fruits and vegetables a yellow color". The two nutrients offer protection against causes of blindness. Do you like eating spinach and eggs? I like spinach. Eye is a window to your heart. Take good care of your eyes.

Spinach, I like it. By the way, it reminds me of a cartoon----Popeye. He loves spinach very much. Everytime he eats spinach, he becomes stronger and powerful. Very interesting.

No sunnydream, I'm actually long sighted, it's the things under my nose I'm unable to see, I wear bi-focals at the moment, I have to control my eating of greens because I'm told they produce a chemical that causes me to develop kidney stones, I've had 8 in the last 2 years, 2 of them were 8cm and gave me a lot of trouble and had to have invasive surgery to break one of them, so my eyesight is not my main problem.
