Hotel in TST or Central near LKF for best nightlife ??

I'm an American going to Hong Kong for 8 days in January 2008 and I want to see the city by day, but go out and meet people and drink and have fun at night.



Anybody have any opinion one way or the other?

TST = Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon

GUEST42116 I personally would stay in TST, first for the better view of the harbor... you can get to TST from central VERY easily..

GUEST85181 TST is by far the best option for centrality if ur a tourist. With the MTR system, you can pretty much get anywhere quite quickly and cheaply too, LKF is definitely where you want to be to party though.
