GUEST17094 I did read the thread Apault. There was nothing there. So I ask again: Has anyone here lied on their application and checked "no" and still got the visa?

GUEST06249 hi yea i wrote about a week ago, i said i would let you know weather i got the visa or not . idid. so i guess admitting your offences is the way forward unless its somthing very serious where i would probably lie i don't think they dig too deep. but i'm glad i've addmitted it so i don't have to worry about getting arrested at the airport. the only thing to worry about now i spending five weeks in china with a girl i met in london 3 months ago. wish me luck, thanks for everyone who writes on this site it was very helpful and gave me confidence in my decision. oh yea merry christmas

Good luck with the the girl. I am sure you will enjoy yrself once you settle down, but be prepared to be a bit overwhelmed at first, partly by the attention you get. Have fun.

GUEST21998 everywhere else I look on the internet it is advised to just mark "no". Even if you are going to Japan for example. Don't admit to anything on paper. In a few years it may come back to bite you later. You won't be "arrested" anywhere for marking "no" by the way. Who gave you that idea?
