In 1997, for 330 days, not a signle drop of water from the Yellow River went into the sea. This year, she cries again, but still no tears. Yellow River Basin in Gansu is drying up, due to the increasing global warming and over-exploration, which declined the water storage capacity in the yellow River Basin in Gansu Province. The Yellow River is the mother river of Chinese people, which has nourished the spelndid Chinese Civilization of over 5,000 years. Now, it has fallen victim to the 'civilized community" that she has nurtured. Perhaps , droughts are a kind of punishment by nature. We have taken too much from nature, but given back too little in return.

GUEST14229	Every time I see the yellow river, it becomes drier and drier, only mud and sand, water flows really slowly. Such a sad thing. the situation of yangtze river is much more encouraging. it's urgent to save our mother river!

" The wetland and grassland in northwest China are degerating due to the over-exploitation. Yellow River like a suffered mother is shedding her painful tears.
