Midnight transportation from Pudong airport

I'll arrive at midnight so what options are available to get to the city centre? How long? I'll be staying at Captain Hostel so please direct me how to get there. Is the shuttle bus still operating at that time?

I arrived late in the evening in Guangzhou this summer and it became quite an adventure. I suggest that you take whatever mass-transport is running to a main part of Shanghai and get a taxicab from there.

Hi,JAMW198,

1) Captain Hostel has two branch (one is in pudong & one is in puxi which is close to Shanghai Bund), you need to tell us which one is you really want to then we can let you know how long it take.

2) During midnight, no shuttle bus.

3) So you can choose a taxi in airport( it need to wait in lines) from airport to your hotel or you book a taxi to pick you up at airport ( it take 70 mins). I often arrange airport pick up & if you book a taxi to pick up you which is more better since you are already very tired when you arrive.

P.S.: 1- Also during midnight, if you take a taxi, pls remember to choose reputation company taxi . it is more safe.
2-After 23:00PM, the taxi charge will be little higher than daytime which is normal rule.
