![]() | Hi Lynsey, Beijing is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, it is a great place to vist, but I don't think it is a good to visit Beijing during the golden week. It will be over congested, usually there are more than 200,000 people sitting in the Tiananmen Square to view the ceremony of raising the national flag on 1st Oct morning. The places of interests, shopping malls, buses and so on will be over crowed. I don't think Datong is a nice place to visit also, I recomened you to visit Pingyao city. Wishing you enjoy a great time in China. Bill |

If you want to go there, just take train at the Beijing West Railway station. Here are some trains: K23, K263, K3, K89, N213 OR N215. In fact, there are many tourist attractions in Beijing, such as Great Walls, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace etc. Beijing's Hutong is also a must-see. Just enjoy your trip in Beijing. |
