![]() | Usually, Chinese people choose to save their money at banks instead of spending. Partially, this makes China face tough challenge of excess liquidity. But this situation may have changed. More and more young female consumers choose to spend their money on traveling, shopping and other entertainment items. Compared with their parents, they do not worry about this. They believe that they can earn more if they work very hard and learn more. They young female consumers have broken the traditional roles. It is they who help China to balance its economy according to the news from Reuters. To some extent, female consumers deternine whether some foreign bands can succeed in China or not. Some luxury goods, such as LVMH, Christian Dior and Valentino are women's favourite. Without those female consumers, how can they sustain their business on mainland? Why do they prefer thsoe foreign bands? Because they are symbol of status. Young Chinese women buy them for status. Another reason is: they are more financially carefree compared with men. They are born to spend. The news said that the househould consumption in China is the lowerest compared with other nations. That makes China depend on exports and investment, which makes China's economy overheated. If China can consume more, import will increse. Meanwhile, the trade surplus can be decreased. To decrease exports can help China to resisit the global ecnomic shocks. What do you tink of those young female consumers? Can they help balance China's economy? |
