TRAIN TO PINGYAO

Hello,
In Octobe I will make by myself a tour of 3 weeks in China and I'm planning to stay 1 day in Pingyao.
My plan is to go from Xian to Pingyao by train (trains #2536 or L28), spend day in Pingyao and take anothe train from Pingyao to Beijing (trains K604 or 1164).
But I dont know if would be very difficult to obtain that train tickets or shouldn't be any problem and I can follow with my plans...
If you have any experience with this trip or have any comments....

Contact a Pingyao guesthouse ahead of time and have them arrange tickets for you.
