India is planning to conduct 60 space missions in the next five years to achieve multiple objectives in navigation, positioning, advanced communications, space transportation, earth observation and space science, Minister of State in the prime minister's office (PMO) Prithviraj Chavan said Monday.

India claims that their space program is for self-defence and want to carry out a pro-active policy.

What's the real intention of India? As a regional power in Asia, India has developped quickly in the past decade. The tension between India and Pakistan makes international community feel worried about Indian move. As for its neighbouring country China, India might have its own policy. India's ambition is unknown. Maybe India want to be the
Big Brother" not only in South Asia, but the whole Asia.

As two regional power in Asia, both China and India is renowned for its super size. The Sino-India relationship is complicated. Since the War between China and India in late 1960s to 1970s, China and India have both confrontations and cooperations. In general, the bilateral tie is normal. So far, India still don't have the power to defy China.

In dealing with the relationship with its neighbouring relative Pakistan, the dispute over the issue of Kashmir often leads the two parties to hostility. India's intension is to establish its leader in South Asia.
