GUEST09204	Thank you for your advice. Sorry for another question... My train arrives at Guangzhou South Station at 2:45. I would like to purchase my ticket from Guangzhou East to Hong Kong in advance online. Do you think I will get to Guangzhou East station in time to take the train at 4:12?

Your train arrives at the Guangzhou South Station in the early morning? There is no bus or subway at that time. Taxi is the only choice. I suggest you spare much more time for you in case your train was late. You may choose another train at the Guangzhou East Station.

GUEST01082	Oh sorry! I meant that my train arrives at Guangzhou South at 14:45, not 2:45! There is a train that leaves Guangzhou East for HK at 16:12... I'm not sure if I can catch that one.

The fastest way is to take the subway line 2 to Gongyuanqian Station and then take subway line 1 to Guangzhou East Railway Station. It takes around 50-60 minutes, which means you only have 27 minutes to enter the station and catch the train that leaves at 16:12. It's hurry and inconvenient if you carry big luggage. You may try your luck.

It will take much longer time if you catch a taxi or public bus. If there is a traffic jam, you will not arrive at the Guangzhou East Railway Station to catch the train.

I still suggest you spare enough time for you. Where are you heading for at the Guangzhou East Railway Station?

CHERRY07 Points: Join Date: Mar 23, 2008 Status: Offline	Take airport express bus at Baiyun Airport (A9 Gate of the Arrival Hall) and get off at Bagualing (final destination). Then you can get to Tongxinling subway station to take subway to Taoyuan. The Nanshan local government buidling is not far from Taoyuan subway station.
