You might like to check thread 'Bullfight Festival of Tong minority!' in News Flash. I would guess thatthis is an infringement of copyright...or is it ok because the source's name is on the pic?

I believe it would be a copyright violation under US law but I am not a lawyer.

I think guys that there are numerous copyright issues on our forums. I think members need to be aware that in doing so they risk this site being sued and ,heaven forbid, closed down.

What about copy-pasting of news and articles from other websites? Is that ok? What about songs? How about song youtube videos? I’ve seen one before.

I think posting anything that is not really coming from the poster is from someone else so technically it is copyright infringement. But if we are that strict, that means we won’t even be able to use any news/article/photo/video. Honestly, I do not know any message board that can implement such strict policy, if ever. I don’t think it is the intention of anyone to claim such as their own. Maybe as long as the source/writer/photographer/videographer is acknowledged or cited, it is ok? Gah! So confusing. O_o
