What kind of women can be called beauties?

Are there any absolute standards to measure a woman is beautiful or not? If they exist, do you believe them? According to the report, a book named China Beauty was published last year. In that book, it offers the standards of judging beauty from her face, eyes, eyebrows, nose, ears, hair etc. In other words, only those who meet those standards are real Chinese beauties.

What is your opinion on the beauty standards? Are they necessary or not? Personally, I do not think they are necessary. Each individual has his or her own understanding of beauty. Some are the same, some are not. What are your beauty standards?

Heidi said it exactly right. A book to convince you what is beautiful is just ridiculous. There are some "beautiful people" who have very ugly hearts, and it makes them less attractive; and there are some "ugly people" who have beautiful hearts, and that makes them more attractive!

That is terrible! If we really make such beauty standards, all of them look similar with each other. In that case, I do not think they are beautiful because they are similar. To my understanding, natural beauty is the best. I do not like those girls who wear heavy cosmetics.

Mr Lion power, Good to see your reply again,
Have you been ok?
I must confess to you that, I like to read your replies,
always interesting, with a new focus and thoughts,

All of them are beautiful, but Chinese are VERY beautiful,
(my dear girl friend is Chinese). I am bias on this one.
If woman beauty can be measure by the meter, I will say a Chinese
meter is larger than the average accepted meter.

I have to admit that I have never met a girl who in some way was not beautiful.
Big ones, small ones, fat and thin. North and South, East and West, They all have a beauty that I cannot define.
Viva la difference.

Yes, Dodger. Everyone has his or her shining points. Beauty has many faces, not just physical appearance. The standards mentioned by FRANKENSTEIN are used to judge a girl's appearance. How can we judge her inner beauty? Perhaps, we should set new standards for inner beauty, haha. Those who only have good appearances are called 'Vase', not beauty. No girls would like to be a vase.

A beautiful woman is that one who is beautiful in your eyes.
