Saunas in China
Oct 10, 2007 22:48
guest29184 Hello everyone,

I'm about to take a month long trip around China and I'm wondering if saunas are as popular in China as they are in Korea & Japan.

And I'm not talking about homosexual bath houses either. If you've ever been to Korea or Japan, then you know what Im talking about. These are straight laced, frequented by locals, sometimes co-ed and definitely not a meat market.

Any opinions???

Thanks.

I have noticed saunas only at hotels in china. Been only few weeks in Nanning, Guilin and Guangzhou, so canĀ“t say anything more specific. And have not been to sauna in china.

I have sauna in my home :=)

Yes, you'll only find them in the Gymnasiums of large hotels.
The Chinese option is Hot Springs which you will find all over the country of differing qualities.
