GUESTMARK I'm a foreigner currently residing in Qingdao, planning to visit Shenzhen and HK. After that, I'd head back to Shenzhen then Qingdao again. I'll be flying from Qing. to Shen. airport. I'm holding a valid mainland visa, so I guess that wouldn't be a problem in Shenzhen right? (I've heard they issue a different visa there)

Questions: I'm considering taking either a bus or a ferry to get to HK from Shenzhen. Which one is the closes from Shenzhen airport? I assume both transpo would take about an hour to travel. I haven't tried this trip yet, so where's the immigration that I'm suppose to cross located at? Would I pass through them before I take the ferry or the bus or after?

Thank you in advance for your help =)

I suggest you to go to Lo Wu / Lo Man Chau for easier transport to city centre in HK
this map may help you http://www.mtr.com.hk/chi/train/system_map_pop_up.html

Is your China visa, multi-entry? If not, you'll have problems getting back to mainland China after going to Hong Kong. No problems for Shenzhen.
Shenzhen airport only has 1 ferry departure each day to Kowloon, in the afternoon. If that doesn't suit your timing then you'll have to take a bus. Or, take the airport shuttle to the Luohu/Lo Wu border then take the MTR into Hong Kong.

GUEST16580 Dear Friends,
I plan on spending a couple of days in the Pearl River Delta Area at the beginning of April and came up with a question I can't really find an answer to anywhere... I just picked up my Mainland China visa at the embassy and was granted two entries to the country. I'll fly into HK Airport and intend to take the ferry from there to Zhuhai (1st entry). Then I'd like to meet with a friend in Macau for a day (I can go there for 90 days w/o visa, so no problem) and return to Zhuhai at night or the next day (2nd entry). Then I plan on taking the ferry from Zhuhai to Shenzhen the next to to continue travel in Mainland China from there. Now, I'm not really crossing the Chinese border again by travelling from Zhuhai to Shenzhen, right? I mean... it's both Mainland China, so I don't have to go through immegration or sth if I take that direct connection between Zhuhai and Shenzhen, right? I just wanna make sure cuz I'll already use up my two entries before that ferry transfer and I'd be in trouble if they actually did consider that crossing as an additional entry to Mainland China...

Thx
