KATRINA Points: Join Date: Nov 29, 2004 Status: offline	The ongoing CPC 17th National Congress states that a well-off society is China's top goal in the next decade. Are you being well-off? What is your understanding of " a well-off soiety"? Are there any economic index concerning a welll-off society? How many countries can be listed in " Well-off list"? What does " well-off" mean to me? Does it mean that I can get everything free of charge? Can we live a life of Utopian style? I wonder if USA is the only "well-off" country in the current world?

ICEBERG Points: Join Date: Sep 10, 2007 Status: Offline	Katrina, there are economic indexes concerning a well-off society, such as GDP Growth rate, Population quantity and its growth rate, GDP per person, urbanization level, disposable income for urban citizens and net income for farmers. Being well-off does not mean you can get everything free of charge, that is Utopian.
