Garlic is a good food ingredient. It can be easily introduceced to our daily meals. Well, some people, particularly some girls don't like eating garlic, because it smells. Hey, don't do that. A new study by a group of US scientists shows that eating garlic is good for the cardiovascular system. The study also found that garlic is rich in allicin, an organic polysulphides. When allicin is broken down into sulphur compounds, these react with red blood cells and produce hydrogen sulphide which relaxes the blood vessels, keeps blood flowing easily and prevents blood clots and oxidative damage. Don't you like eating garlic? Does it smell? Garlic is good for your heart, Remember!

I often use it as seasoning of dishes when cooking. Glad to hear that it is healthy.

I love garlic and use it in my cooking very often, my father always said he hated it so would never eat it, unkown to him when I used to cook for him I would use it and just leave it off his plate so all he got was the flavour in the food, he never knew until I told him later, I then explained garlic is present in many things like ketchup etc and would show him the label to prove my point. When I worked with my father in the Building trade in the late 1960's, we worked with a lot of Polish workers who ate garlic raw and their breath was awful, I think this what put a lot of people like my father off garlic.
