Herbeat,

We needn't know how it went. Now Dave has married his pretty wife. If you look at their wedding photos, you will find that this couple are very happy. The result is satisfying.

It is true, my Chinese lessons/courses/friends etc have helped me loads in my many situations, although I have to say nothing prepared me for a Chinese wedding.

We are 99% happily married, but I am in UK and she is still in China, once visa is sorted we can add that extra 1% and be together

Dave, hope you can reunite with your wife very soon. If you open your guesthouse in China, please tell us where it is. We might visit your place one day.

SUNNYDREAM, you are too funny. I just talked about the culture thing and gave some personal thought to the discussion about the homework. May I ask what made you think there's anything dealing with Dave's marriage? That just made me laugh...

No offense but honestly, I've no idea whether you ever understand my postings or not. But I'm just curious in any kind of knowledge. Obviously I'm not an expert on this but I'll be willing to learn some information if Davec had done some research on this.

The 99% has increased to 99.5% her visa has been issued, now I can book holiday time with my company and go to China for a final trip before she comes to UK.
