first time traveller to Beijing and Shanghai

guestKma hi, am off on a biz trip to Beijing in early Nov and intend reaching on saturday evening so i am able to catch up with some sight-seeing on sunday. i have been told abt the great wall and wud love to visit it. how much time is reqd for this visit and are there any other places anyone wud care to recommend..?

Great Wall is a good day trip. Forbidden city, since it's in the city if you have the time. Again it is a few hours to all day.......

Yes, possible to combine both if you're hiring a driver to get to the Great Wall.
