I was planning to stay here a few days but because of the fair (and the crazy accomendation prizes) I am forced to leave. Before I'm leaving I'd need to do some shopping for warmer clothes and maybe a good rainjacket etc before i travel on. Can someone please give me tips on the best place in or around Guangzhou to find this? Stuff like head torches etc would be good as well but not equally important. Ideally there'd be a market selling these kind of stuff to low prices, but if there is not is the teem mall my best bet? Of course I want to spend as little money as possible. If there is a factory outlet or a market for goretex or other functional clothing within a days trip from Guangzhou I'd be very interested in tips. thank you in advance, I might also mention that I'm not interested in wholeslae, I just need some warmer clothes for me and my wife before we travel further. again thanx /trobb

I've only shopped camera backpacks at the Haiyin area (海印), they have really a complete range and stock. I don't know if there are outdoor gears there as well, as i did not spend much time there

but i googled this =>
