![]() | Hey, Last night, one of my friends told me that he had got a trouble and asked me for help. She said: “my mother-in-law smokes and i have asked her not to smoke around our children so her choice is to go to the door and smoke but she lets my 2 year old sit with her in the door way. To me this is just as bad. I have tried talking to my husband about this but he is a mamma’s boy and don’t want to offend her.” I have no ideas about this issue, since I don’t have a mother-in-law yet. What’s your advice? What will you do if you meet this problem? Thanks in advance. |

![]() | Hey whats up, Is it a he or she? Anyway, It seems the mother-in-law is full fulling her part to a certain extent by smoking in the door way. If the husband won't budge on the matter, maybe its good to warn the kids and teach them that second hand smoke is harmful to there health. That is something I would personally do for my kids as Grandma won't be the only one who smokes as he or she grows up. Danny (This Grandma is HILARIOUS) ![]() |

![]() | The Chinese language does not used gender-based pronouns and so the he/she confusion happens often. As for the children sitting in the doorway with their Grandmother while she smokes... The smoke will not harm the children as much as a deep disturbance between the woman and her mother-in-law will hurt the children. |
