Turkish warplanes and helicopter gunships attacked the positions of Kurdish rebels along the Iraqi-Turkish border on Wednesday. Turkish government is expediting its war preparation, and 100,000 forces have been deployed to Iraqi-Turkish border. The forces took aim at Kurdish rebels operating in northern Iraq. International community is making efforts to resolve the issue through peaceful means. The United States reiterated on Wednesday its call for Turkey to show restraint. It is reported that Secretary of State Miss Rice is planing to make a trip to Turkey. What will happen? Another war in Middle East?

YVONNE Points: Join Date: Nov 29, 2004 Status: Offline	The infighting between Kurdish and Turkish authority is escalating.The Kurdish want more autonomy. It seems that race is a big problem in Middle East and Eastern Europe. The Kosovo War resulted from the racial disagreement. Hopefully, history will not repeat.
