not a bad idea at all.

I try to learn Chinese here alone, sloooow progress, heh. Waiting for my lao po toe come here. When she comes, she must learn Finnish, maybe one of the hardest languages in the world to learn. Not much help from her not so very good English, no help at all from my "Chinese-in-diapers".
I will learn Chinese with her in time.
However, I think there are a lot of guys here who are able to communicate in Chinese, at least in some level.
Anyway, I got interested, of course, because I am going to learn Chinese some day.
