Shao Qiwei, the direct general of National Tourism Bureau said that China will become the world’s largest country welcoming tourists, and the fourth largest source of outbound tourists.

From 2002 to 2006, the turnover of the tourism industry has reached 310 billion dollars. In the first three quarters, the number of outbound tourists is about 97 million and the turnover reaches 28 billion dollars.

China has become one of the most safest and vigorous tourist destinations in the world. Perhaps, Such achievements should be put down to Beijing 208 Olympic Games and World Expo.

I am not certain that inbound tourism is good news for China, CHERYL. Over time, I believe you will come to see it as a mixed blessing. Tourism changes places; often in unfavorable ways.

We do make money from tourism industry. But how about those tourist destinations? The natural scenery has been polluted and disturbed by human beings. In recent years, many tourists have flocked into Tibet. I would not like to see the blue sky and green land are polluted and damaged by us.
