Hello, together with my four year old daughter I am learning some Chinese words. My daughter can't read yet, but for both of us the most easy way of learning is with flashcards with a picture on it and the text in English and pinyin. It would be nice if we can start an collection in this forum. Ofcourse tips of homepages with already pictures with pinyin and English are welcome.. I thinking of pictures of daily words, because I want to use them with my four year old daughter. L. from The Netherlands

O yes, I am very funny... But you have to start somewere with learning Chinese. And I gues its not so bad if you know the names of food in Chinese if you want to eat something :-) And I asked if others have more tips or flashcard pictures.. For my daughter of 4 it is not nessesary at the moment to learn how she can make an reservation for a hotel, order a taxi etc. With the pictures its more fun for her to learn words in Chinese...

Hi Lisette, I have no idea what is available for you in Holland but here in China (you could buy next year when you visit) you can buy a good variety of flashcards like these in my photo. There are also charts and booklets. Some need a little correction. I have two different series of two packs that I have begun to use. Each box holds around 100 cards. One set has pictures as well which is better for children but I like them all because they teach the stroke order for writing the character as well as the pin yin for pronunciation and at least four uses of the word
