![]() | Worthwhile, as there're less tourists during that time (off-peak) and admission fees are lower. Possible to do what you're envisioning, but it'll be very rushed. And you'll miss sunset and sunrise on the mountain. Best way for Hangzhou -- Beijing would be by the overnight Z train. |

![]() | Huang = Yellow Shan = Mountain(s) So your question doesn't really make sense unless you mean you're going from Huangshan city (aka Tunxi) to the mountains for the sunrise. I presume you mean the summit area for sunrise? That really doesn't make sense unless you're staying in the summit area. Huangshan city (aka Tunxi) is about 1.5 hours drive from the foot of the mountain, and then you still have to climb to the top since there're no cable cars running at that hour. Were you perhaps planning to start at midnight? |
