LINZILEX Points: Join Date: Sep 10, 2007 Status: offline	I just came back from a trip to china and loved it especially the food and I bought a cooking book and looked at several others in a international book shop in beijing but they looked too fancy. I would like to get recipes of the food we ate. We were in Xian,Chengdu and Beijing. Loved the hotpot. Ate lots of veggies, not sure what they all were, our guides at times didnt know the english names. anyway I think one was spinach, bokchoy, pokchoy, also ? cooked cucumber , some chicken/peanut/spicey dish, several beef dishes, pork and loved the wide noodles in Xian. Anyone know where I could get a cook book with basic recipes or if people would send me the recipes, for the local food mentioned. I dont think I could eat american chinese again. I live in a small town and only have local food chain chinese available.Also dumpling recipes. thanks lindsey
