![]() | There is a train going from Inner Mongolia's capital of Hohhot to Ulan-Bator in Mongolia proper. I found the following information about this train service: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The train leaves Hohhot at 22:00 on every Monday and Friday. It arrives in Ulaan-Bataar at 10:55 on the third day. There are only sleeping cars without hard seats. There are two trains offered seperately by China and Mongolia. For the Chinese train, the price for a hard sleeper is RMB 489 and a soft sleeper RMB 692. For the Mongolian train, the price for a hard sleeper is RMB 551 and a soft one RMB 754. Normally tickets will be available 15 days in advance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am curious to know if anyone here has ever travelled this train. And general comments about the differences between Mongolian and Chinese trains are also welcome! |
