City Hopping by plane w/o reservations ?

I would like the possibility to hop a plane to Beijing and back during these 5 days, but I am not sure, and I would like decide while I am there, in Shenyang, so would want to be able to just go to the Shenyang airport, buy ticket, hop plane to Beijing sort of thing, and return to Shenyang before my return flight to the US. Is this possible or practical? Thanks.

LAZYSNAIL Points: Join Date: Mar 13, 2007 Status: Offline	You should buy your international flight ticket from a travel agent rather than just be fully packed and turn up on the day expecting a seat unless you are travelling business. it's high season in december. in china you got more chances, certainly at full fare but if you book early you could get discounts.

JABAROOTOO Points: Join Date: Jul 4, 2005 Status: Offline	There are more than a dozen flights daily to Shenyang ranging in price from US$70 to US$160 Use the FLIGHT tab a the top of the page for schedule of carriers and prices. Shenyang is an odd Port of Entry to China???

JHAMMER Points: Join Date: Nov 5, 2007 Status: Offline	Odd port of entry - OK.. but I am going to meet a woman living in Anshan, and expect to be there most of the time. At 5 days, kind of a short trip so not sure about going to Beijing for a day or two or not.
